Mother’s day is upon us! Do you know of any expectant mothers? This is the perfect gift idea or registry item!
I’m a teacher. That means I have the natural born talent for overthinking things. I feel like that is also the epitome of my motherhood journey. Overthinking fucking everything (shout out to all my overthinking mamas out there). My husband and I are also the world’s most extreme planners. Put both of those facts together, and you have…drumroll, please…children who undoubtedly develop complexes of some sort.
I’m kidding. But I DO NOT joke about at all how much of a lifesaver the Lovevery play kits are. When I first found out I was pregnant, I dreamt of my registry.
That’s a fucking lie. No, I didn’t. I dreamt of the day I wouldn’t vomit after eating my favorite foods. Or just generally not feel like fucking crap.
The registry honestly gave me so much fucking anxiety. Making a registry for your wedding is one thing; that’s just based on what you want or need. But a baby registry is so much greater than that! It’s choices you make for a child whose life you are responsible for! NO PRESSURE.
I kept seeing the Lovevery Play Mat on a bunch of other moms’ registries that I knew. So I thought, that seems like a good place to start. As I looked more into it, I realized that they also offered play kits. Toys had been one area of my children’s lives that most excited me (enter nerd teacher emoji)! How could I make sure to further their development through research on these toys? But come on, who has the time to do all the research? And create perfectly curated toy sets? Or ways in which to interact with babies and toddlers? While also making the toys look esthetically pleasing, and not the loud annoying toys I was accustomed to?
Lovevery does. That’s who!
I know some parents look at the price and think it’s not worth it, but we made the commitment to the subscription kit (that now comes with books, too!), and we are SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY about it. My husband and I made the decision to make these the ONLY toys we bought for our children, and so it made the price seem much more reasonable. Plus, you can add them to your Babylist registry and have people donate them for you!
Not only have they helped my daughter develop all sorts of fine and gross motor learning, but she also loves them! She gets so excited when her new box comes in, and the best part is that my son can use them too! It has taken the guesswork out of one area of my children’s development, and I am SO thankful for the Lovevery Play Kits!
And now, for the month of March, I can offer you $20 off of your first play kit subscription! Just email me at sassa@therealmamasassa.com and I’ll share a coupon to get $20 off your subscription!
